Who No More Innocence is

No More Innocence, usually shortened to NMI, is one of the five killers Abyssal Escape launched with on 17 October 2026. His in-game title is The Yokai. The developers' own renders are labelled "The Yokai (No More Innocence / PHASE 3 / HEDGEHOG FORM)", and the killer menu lists The Yokai.

Phase 1 ability: Lure

No More Innocence in phase 1 gameplay in Abyssal Escape, with a greyscale screen and the Lure ability on the wheel

Still from the developers' "NMI Phase 1 Round Start Voicelines" video (19 Mar 2026).

The phase 1 footage shows:

  • Lure on the Z key, the only ability shown in that clip.
  • 100 stamina.
  • A greyscale view of the map while playing as NMI. A player asked the developers whether survivors see it too. We haven't seen an answer, so we only confirm it for the killer's view.

The developers haven't published what Lure does, or NMI's phase 2 and phase 3 abilities. Some fan sites describe TV-based travel or hallucinations; we haven't found those in official posts.

Voice lines

Phase 1 round-start lines include "You can't hide from me", "Running won't get you far", "Let's have a little fun", and "You are not alone".

Playtest pick rate

In the developers' 384-match playtest (shared 25 August 2026), NMI was picked 38 times, fourth of five.

Playing against No More Innocence

  1. Clear red mist to shorten the escape timer before phase 3.
  2. Don't double up on stuns. Two stun abilities halve your stun times (stun rules).
  3. Use stealth. Chases don't start while you're using stealth moves such as Camouflage.
