All five launch killers at a glance

The Roblox listing promises "iconic entities, including 2011x, Furnace, and more." The developers' YouTube channel shows the full launch line-up: X, 2017X, Furnace, Fleetway, and No More Innocence. Community creators who played pre-release builds list the same five.

The table above gives each killer's name, its title (the epithet the developers and players use for that character), and how solid that information is. Use the filter to search by any alias, such as "2011x", "Maniac", or "NMI".

What every killer has in common

• Evolution phases. Every Killer "evolves into increasingly lethal phases as the match progresses" (official description). A Killer at the end of a round is more dangerous than at the start.
• Voice acting and chase themes. The developers highlight unique voice acting and dynamic chase themes. The official "LAYERS" videos showcase each killer's layered music.
• Last man standing. If a Killer outperforms the Survivors, it earns its own LMS theme (how LMS works).

X: The Deity

X is the killer behind the game's best-known name. The developers' videos call him "X (THE DEITY)", and they publish the 2011X look as an X skin. That is why the Roblox page mentions "2011x" while community videos say "The Deity". They refer to the same killer.

2017X: The Broken Face

The developers' layers video is titled "2017X / BROKEN FACE", which confirms his title. The official gameplay video, posted before launch, was labelled work in progress, so his moveset may still change during the alpha.

Furnace

Furnace is one of the two killers the Roblox description names directly. His official gameplay video had the most views of the developers' pre-launch killer videos (over 75,000 on 18 October 2026). The fan wiki lists his title as The Furnace.

Fleetway: The Maniac

Fleetway Super Sonic is not an EXE character, but he is part of the launch roster. Community gameplay videos and the fan wiki give his title as The Maniac. The developers' own channel uses only the name "Fleetway".

No More Innocence (NMI)

The developers confirm No More Innocence as a killer, and creators shorten the name to NMI. The fan wiki lists a fifth release killer called The Yokai, with a human first form and a hedgehog final form. No More Innocence is the only launch killer without another confirmed title, but no source we found states that the two are the same. Treat "The Yokai = NMI" as unconfirmed.

Movesets, counters, and tier lists

We don't publish ability breakdowns, counterplay, or a tier list yet. The game is in alpha, killer balance is still moving, and we could not verify movesets from a primary source. Creator videos such as "Everything You Need To Know About Abyssal Escape" cover each moveset on video in the meantime. We'll add per-killer guides once we can check them in-game.
