Abyssal Escape Furnace: Charge Heat, Heat gauge, and profile

Who Furnace is

Furnace is one of the five killers Abyssal Escape launched with on 17 October 2026. He is one of only two killers the Roblox description names directly ("iconic entities, including 2011x, Furnace, and more"), and the in-game killer menu titles him The Furnace. In the Sonic.EXE fan community he is a Metal Sonic-based character. The developers gave him a new menu theme and a slight model refresh in April 2026.

Furnace's official footage from 7 August 2026 shows:

• A vertical Heat gauge next to him that fills as he charges.
• Charge Heat on the Z key. The developers' post calls it "Heat Charge".
• 100 stamina.
• The other ability slots were empty in this clip, so it doesn't show his full launch kit.

In an earlier January 2026 build ("Furnace Phase 1 Basic Movement Showcase"), the same Z slot was labelled "Cook", so the ability was renamed during development.

What Heat does (for example, which attacks it powers) isn't described in the official posts we found. Some fan sites name other Furnace moves, but we haven't found those names in official sources, so they aren't listed here.

Voice lines

The 7 August footage shows Furnace's round-start lines in the game's dialogue box, including the line "The doctor's command terminal not detected… objectives remain unchanged."

Most-picked killer in the playtest

In the developers' tracked playtest (384 matches, shared 25 August 2026), Furnace was picked 139 times, more than any other killer and just ahead of X (136). The developers say they use these pick and kill rates, together with community feedback, to decide nerfs and buffs. See the pick-rate chart.

Playing against Furnace

1. Clear red mist early to shorten the escape timer before Furnace's later phases.
2. Mind the stun rules. Stacked stuns are divided (stun rules).
3. Break line of sight for more than 3 seconds to end a chase.
